PAST PROJECTS

Foundation Systems Hawaii, has worked with property owners across the islands. These are just a few examples of the many projects that we have been proud to work on.

Emergency Retaining Wall

During the March 2026 rain events, Foundation Systems Hawaii helped the Hawaii Department of Transportation with the stabilization of the H-1 Freeway at the A‘ala Street overpass. Grout-injection hollow bar tiebacks were rapidly installed to secure and stabilize a leaning wall under critical conditions.

Structure Underpinning

A 16 unit condominium building experienced over 14 inches of settlement. The buildings were re-leveled and stabilized using drilled micropiles.

Communications Tower Construction

A new communications tower required a micropile supported foundation to resist compressive, tensile, and lateral loads.

Zipline Repair

Foundation Systems Hawaii replaced all previously installed helical guy wire anchors with grout injection anchors.

Seawall Construction

A Maui waterfront residence experienced failure of a 30ft seawall.

Swimming Pool Addition

The addition of a new swimming pool required underpinning of the existing structure that sat within feet of the excavation.
